We could almost say she was born in her parents’ jewelry and watch shop. Leni Adam, founder and designer of the brand which carries her name, is a member of the third generation of Adam family, which has led the “Adam Uhren Bijouterie” since 1935 in the heart of beautiful Olten.
After studying law, she decided to pursue her passion, completing her studies in the celebrated Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and a separate course in Florence, and launched her own collections of sustainable jewellery, made in Switzerland with recycled 18K gold and hunted gems in the Swiss alps (sometimes with her dad too).
The family’s women are central in Leni Adam‘s collections, which are named for her two grandmothers (Frieda and Elsa). Her most recent creation: a sublime engagement ring named “Crystallised”, to die for.
Huge crush for the designer – a sweetheart – and her creations, true gems with sober and pure designs with a “touch”. Perfect to wear on a daily basis as well as for special occasions, on my side, I adopted a few months ago a pair of rose gold Frieda loops, who don’t leave my ears anymore. It was as well quite hard to take off all the beautiful pieces after this lovely Saturday shooting behind the lens of… Leni Adam herself! A woman with many talents.
